Seasonal Sadhana Series

This short and sweet program is for humans who:

☾ Feel overwhelmed or stuck in a cycle of busy-ness and fatigue

☾ Want clarity around ways to bring simplicity to their lives

☾ Crave a slower pace, a deeper connection to themselves (body, breath and heart) and who want to reclaim sacred parts of themselves that have been covered over

want to be guided by an experienced and inclusive teacher who feels a deep sense of responsibility and passion for the work that they do.

Sadhana is a Sanskrit word from the Yoga tradition – the root of which is sadh meaning ‘to reclaim the divine within’.

I love this definition by Maya Tiwari  as it connotes a sense of devotion to something greater than ourselves but also something within ourselves that we may have lost touch with.

What’s Included?

✓ A pre-reflection on Sunday 19th Feb (we start Monday 20th) to ‘prepare the ground’ and bring focus to the week.

✓ 3 days of sweet and manageable content spread out over the 5 weekdays – emails will drop direct to your inbox on Monday 20th, Wednesday 22nd and Friday 24th (add these dates to your diary now). This gives you time to learn, practice, reflect and act on changes you’d like to make – all at a reasonable pace.

✓ A pop-up Facebook group that will open on Sunday 19th Feb for sharing and group support –  with daily opportunities to connect and ask questions (during and for 1 week after the series ends). 

Each day’s content will follow the same format:

» Learn (a short audio lecture) based on the principles of Yoga and Ayurveda 

» Practice (a 10 minute practice) of Yoga postures, Breathwork and Mantra respectively

» Reflect and Act – reflective journaling prompts for self-study and contemplation

☾ Simple tools from the ancient traditions of  Hatha Yoga and Ayurveda that bring stability and stillness as well as support to cultivate healthy habits

I’m Emma Waters – experienced Yoga teacher / trainer, Ayurvedic lifestyle educator and Inner Medicine coach –  with 20 years of teaching and facilitation experience under my belt. 

Deep in my bones I am a teacher and Yoga is my life.

 I don’t just teach Yoga  – I live it. I strive to move through the world with the greatest integrity and authenticity. I love to create a safe space for people to connect with their own needs and aspirations, to rest and regenerate and to courageously tell the truth about their lives and begin to trust their innate wisdom. 

 I am also a highly sensitive person (HSP) – I empathise easily and strongly and have a knack for seeing things that are playing out underneath certain actions or behaviours in the subtler realms – things my clients may not even be aware of. I am inclusive, positive and love supporting people to live the life they came here to live.

My offerings include face to face weekly Yoga classes, workshops & intensives (in Byron Shire, NSW) as well as retreats (in Nobby’s Creek and Kurrajong this year), 1:1 Inner Medicine Coaching online as well as my weekly podcast The Life Right Here…and NOW the Seasonal Sadhana Series which will run in the last week of each season in preparation for the coming 3 months.
